ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

Toronto/Orangeville

Starkey Group Architects is changing and evolving. Currently, a vibrant and flourishing studio, we are looking for an Architectural Designer to join our growing team in delivering excellence in architecture and planning for construction projects. The company currently has two offices, one in Orangeville and one in downtown Toronto.

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Significantly contributing to the successful imagination and execution of exceptional building projects
  • Communicating effectively with clients and colleagues · Enriching the design and specification development of architectural building systems · Opportunities to display a high level of creativity and innovation in the development of designs
  • Preparing designs for construction
  • Ensuring accuracy, completeness and quality of technical information and project documentation
  • Ensuring architectural deliverables (drawings, specifications, analysis) comply with applicable codes, regulations, standard procedures and sound architectural practices
  • Working closely with the Architectural Team and other disciplines including Engineers, Designers and Project Managers as a team player in a collaborative framework within an integrated multi-disciplinary project team
  • Providing contract administration services on projects during the construction phase

 

We want to talk to you if you:

  • Have graduated from an accredited Architectural Design Program
  • Display proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD
  • Enjoy working in Adobe Suite
